The Backpack Buddy Program is a Division of the
Carolina Charter PTO, a 501(c)(3).
All donations may be tax deductible.
What we do
Carolina Charter PTO Backpack Buddies provides
a bag of nonperishable food to school children in need
in Wake, Johnston, or Harnett Counties that they can take
home over the weekend and holidays.
Who we support
Supporting Carolina Charter Academy (CCA), located in Fuquay-Varina/Angier for students with the greatest food insecurity in their home. For 2025/26 school year, the program is servicing 20+ children, weekly.
Food Supplied
Kid--Friendly, nonperishable food to support (2) breakfast, (2) lunch, (2) dinner, and snacks for the weekend.
